Today Forbes.com published a summary of Chris Treadaway's thoughts on local business marketing. Paraphrasing the point of his article, Chris Treadaway says, "I really do believe that local businesses are being forced to develop a core competency in Internet marketing across major channels -- email, social media, search, etc."

He goes on to say, "Companies that get it are killing it, and those that don't will suffer."
